Conferencing for Any Size Company

Audio and web conferencing have changed the way business is conducted. However, conferencing technologies have faced their own administrative barriers. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is making audio and web conferencing accessible to any size business, easing the process with intuitive tools and allowing global collaboration through common web browsers.

One Forum

Time Warner Telecom recently introduced One Forum — a VoIP conferencing product that uses core infrastructure and a VoIP backbone to provide increased efficiencies. It takes advantage of Time Warner Telecom's world-class metro Ethernet network, which supports VoIP offerings across the country. This ultra-reliable network independently packages voice streams, data streams and routing information.

Bundled together over an Internet service, VoIP eliminates long distance charges while improving communication efficiencies of audio and web conferencing. IP conferencing supports all standard web browsers and phone types, including traditional phones, IP phones and cellular phones. VoIP conferences over Time Warner Telecom's network can be accessed from anywhere in the world.

Conferencing for All

In the past, robust audio and web conferencing was complicated to use, required a lot of planning and was extremely expensive. Taking out the expensive parts of conferencing (such as operator assistance) and simplifying its use through the help of automated features has made conferencing a tool that can be used every day to increase a business' efficiency and productivity.

Time Warner Telecom's service uses next generation VoIP technology with an open standards based conferencing platform. This provides a scalable and efficient conferencing service that's cost-effective for any size company. Participants simply dial a toll-free or direct-inward-dial (DID) number or log onto a web site. Conference pre-scheduling and reservations are no longer required.

Time Warner Telecom offers advanced conferencing features such as:

  • Scheduled, recurring or ad hoc meeting alternatives.
  • Intuitive access from any public telephone, web browser or both.
  • Schedule conferences and control meetings through an easy-to-use web interface.
  • Create and manage personal contact lists for conferences and notifications.
  • Add, modify and delete conferences without using an operator.
  • Automate email messages to notify meeting participants.
  • Track usage and details through reports.
  • Set generic or unique security codes for all participants.

Whether it's a weekly project update, a brainstorming meeting or a training session, IP conferencing from Time Warner Telecom lets people communicate effortlessly with sophisticated, intuitive, next generation tools.
