Time Warner Telecom Chooses Proven Systems
to Produce Value-Added eNewsletters for the Telecom Industry
Based in Littleton, Colorado Time
Warner Telecom Inc. is a leading provider of managed network solutions
to a wide array of businesses and organizations in 44 U.S. metropolitan
areas that require telecommunications-intensive services. One of
the country's premier competitive telecom carriers, Time Warner
Telecom integrates data, dedicated Internet access and local and long
distance voice services. Clients include long distance carriers, healthcare
organizations, finance and higher education.
Time Warner Telecom is launching a new eNewsletter.. The email
publication offers the company a convenient and effective way to stay connected
with its customers, prospects, and other business partners. It will provide
subscribers with valuable industry news, interesting customer spotlights
and feature articles on products/services and other relevant telecom information.
The eNewsletter will enable Time Warner Telecom to leverage the Internet
to build on a progressive history that began in 1993, as a joint venture
with Time Warner Cable. (This is now a unit of Time Warner Inc.) Since
1997, the business has increasingly targeted its focus on business customers,
including carriers and government entities. It also has evolved from
a provider of dedicated services into a supplier of switched, Internet
and data services in expanded geographic areas.
In July 1998, the business separated itself from Time Warner Cable and
reorganized into a limited liability company known as Time Warner Telecom
LLC. In May 1999, the company went public with an IPO and became
Time Warner Telecom Inc.
By the end of 2001, Time Warner Telecom had begun offering telecommunications
services over its own optical networks in 44 markets and doubled its national
footprint from February 2000. This expansion included the acquisition of
nearly all assets of GST Telecommunications, giving Time Warner Telecom
a presence in 15 West Coast markets.
Time Warner Telecom feels its powerful networks, robust product suite
and superior customer care make it one of the country's premier competitive
telecom carriers. IT professionals agree. According to Network IT
managers polled by Network Magazine in September 2003, Time Warner Telecom
leads as the best ISP in
the United States.
